This special lecture will lead you through the remarkable journey a body can have long after the heart’s last beat. Our speaker, Dr. Bridget Coughlin, Curator of Human Health, will focus on highlights of Gunther von Hagens’ BODY WORLDS & The Story of the Heart (unfortunately we are unable to see this exhibit before the opening on March 12) and illustrate what we can learn about ourselves when we peer into the human body. Coughlin will also give Rotary a special behind the scenes look at the making of the Museum’s new $8 million dollar health exhibit, Expedition Health. Due to fire code regulations at DMNS, attendance at this meeting is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Therefore we can accept reservations for Club Members only at this time. NO LATE RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Check back with us on March 5th to see if we have openings for your guests. There WILL NOT be a regular Club meeting at the DAC on this day.
