The late summer sun will be outdone by the beaming faces of the Rotarian volunteers who will help make the 2010 Peach Sale a huge success!
We are going to try and break records with the number of peaches sold and pancake breakfasts served!
After the hard freeze experienced by many of our Western Slope growers last year, we are happy to be back with our original grower Noland Orchards. Noland Orchards will again pick the peaches a few days before the sale. This year's crop promises to be the biggest and juciest ever!
This is the 7th year for this FUNrasier which is very important to our Club, helping fund humanitarian projects both locally and internationally.
The three goals of the peach sale are:
1) Member involvement in a quick, easy project with emphasis on new members;
2) Fellowship on Pick-up Day in a “working on a common goal” atmosphere;
3) Raise funds to help Our Denver Rotary Foundation and the Rotary International Foundation.
PICK-UP DAY IS A BLAST! Rotarians are needed at the check-in table, managing the database, as well as keeping those boxes moving from the truck into the cars of our Buyers. We also hold a Pancake Breakfast and with the help of several Rotarians and the DCIS Interact Club last year we served over 300 Breakfast!
We could use help with:
Individual Sales
Group Sales
Orders/Database Management
Pick-up Day
Come join the fun! You will have a Peachy Good Time!
