THE ROTARY FOUNDATION SUPPORT COMMITTEE - Marie Wheatley, 2008-09 Chair

The Rotary Foundation Support Committee supports the efforts of Rotary International in its mission to achieve world understanding and peace through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational and cultural programs.

The Rotary Foundation Support Committee supports The Rotary Foundation (TRF) of Rotary International by:

Sharing information with Club 31 members about The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International's mission and its dynamic programs;
Actively reminding all Club 31 members to give $100 or more every year, Every Rotarian, Every Year, as asked by Rotary International;
Encouraging Club 31 members to become benefactors and major donors to The Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Foundation funds the grants for our World Community Service matches, 3-H Projects, Ambassadorial Scholars, Group Study; Exchange Teams (GSE), World Peace Scholarships, University Teacher exchanges, Clean/Safe Water projects and much more.

Members who have reached the RI Paul Harris Fellow/Multiple+ levels are recognized during Club meetings throughout Rotary year.
