Ideas can be life changing. Sometimes all you need to open the door is just one more good idea. ~Jim Rohn

The Rotary Club of Denver offers compelling and timely programs that impact our community in profound ways. Come learn from some of Denver’s most innovative thought and business leaders about issues that matter to you professionally and personally. Each week, we’ll hear from leaders on healthcare, politics, technology, civic engagement, international concerns and the economy. Below is a sampling of our recent speakers:

  • Governor Hickenlooper, Annual State of the State Address to Rotarians
  • Jennifer Miskimins, Assoc. Professor, Colorado School of Mines, Oil and Gas Hydraulic Fracking
  • Hank Brown, former U.S. Senator, The U.S. as a Debtor Nation
  • Patrick Heck, CFO, Denver International Airport, DIA’s Strategic Vision as a Global Transportation Hub
  • Tom Boasberg, Superintendent, Denver Public Schools, Improving Denver Public Schools

Once a quarter, Denver Rotary club members get together for Fellowship meetings. These gatherings of small groups of members are hosted by a fellow club member, either at their office, home, or other venue, so members have a chance to get to know each other on a more personal basis. They are fun, educational, and a great chance to meet other Rotarians. Recent fellowships have included:

  • Happy hour with Denver Kids, Inc.
  • Breakfast with Newmont Mining
  • Lunch with Scholastic Arts at the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design
  • Wine, Cheese, and Art at the home of a Rotarian
  • Lunch at a historic mansion

Denver Rotary also offers opportunities to get together with other members of the club to exchange ideas on a more informal basis.  This includes a variety of activities, such as:

  • Summer picnic and holiday party
  • Annual Summer Solstice Golf Tournament, 100 holes in one day to benefit Denver Kids, Inc.
  • Rotary After Dark for happy hours, brewery tours, etc.
  • Rotary Friends book club
