Thomas Longino is the founder of Longino Public Finance, LLC, a law firm focused on representing investors and trustees in connection with high-yield or distressed financing, whether taxable or tax-exempt.  Prior to forming Longino Public Finance, Thomas practiced law in the area of municipal finance at a large southeastern law firm, mostly as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel, where he gained valuable workout and municipal bankruptcy experience as a member of the team representing Jefferson County, Alabama.  Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a master of laws in federal taxation from New York University School of Law.  A very recent transplant to Denver, Thomas enjoys the Denver restaurant scene, exercise and discovering all that Colorado has to offer.

Debbie Wilkins serves as a Compass associate broker.  Debbie is keenly focused on customer relationship development and success defined through achieving set goals.  This customer and goals-driven approach consistently creates positive results for her clients in a rapid real estate market.  Prior to pursuing her career in real estate, Debbie successfully started up and owned her own business from 2005-2019.  The business was private-labeled product sales and distribution, servicing large business maintenance of facilities.  Additionally, her work experience includes multiple sales manager positions in the medical field, including manufacturers such as Johnson & Johnson.  Debbie has a strong affection for four-legged friends, including her own two Havanese, Biewer Terrier, and a Bernese Mountain Dog.  This affection also resulted in training her own as therapy dogs.  Other interests include home remodeling, DYI home projects, travel, and restaurants.  Prior to calling Denver her forever home, Debbie lived in St. Louis, Atlanta, and Dallas.  She holds a BA in journalism from the University of Georgia.

Kristopher (Kris) Hemenway is the President and Founder of Statera Media, a Denver based strategy, marketing and media planning firm that focuses on small and mid-sized companies in many different business verticals.  Kris uses a data-driven approach to help his clients find new customers through digital (Social, SEM, E-Mail, Display) and traditional (TV, Radio, Print) media.  Prior to forming Statera Media in 2014, Kris worked for some of Colorado’s biggest and best companies in marketing and media such as:  Vail Resorts, Coors Brewing Company, The Integer Group and Gart Companies.  Kris has lived in Colorado for 23 years and is a proud alumnus of the University of Colorado at Boulder where he graduated with honors with a B.S. in Journalism.  He has been married to his wife Keri for 14 years and is the proud father of two young boys, Harrison (9) and Patrick (5).

Kimsey Self

Kimsey Self is the founder and owner of Progressive Health and Wellness.  Her passion for health began at an early age and has never waned. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College, Kimsey has completed the Master Nutrition Therapy program from the Nutrition Therapy Institute (NTI) and is currently pursuing her PhD in Natural Medicine from Quantum University of Integrative Medicine, a school specializing in degree programs in natural and integrative medicine based on the science of quantum physics.  She has also completed additional training in functional medicine, including Functional Blood Chemistry, Functional Brain Chemistry, and Integrative Psychology. and still regularly attends medical and business conferences.

Kimsey strongly believes that education is paramount to success. She has been a guest speaker on Denver’s 9NEWS, CBS Radio, the Michael Brown KHOW radio show, and many other podcasts and media outlets. All credentials aside, her clients describe her passion as “infectious”, her humor as “contagious”, and her methods as “effective.”  Kimsey is all about getting results while having a good time doing it.

In her spare time, Kimsey loves running with her dog, hiking, yoga, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.

Kate Richards has been managing the membership sales department at the Downtown Denver Partnership for three years.  Before this role, she was at the Parker Area Chamber of Commerce as their Membership Director.  Kate is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, having studied public relations, event planning and tourism.

Kate and her husband Nick have lived in Colorado for nine years this August.  She and her husband recently welcomed their first child, Benjamin, in July and they are celebrating their 9-year wedding anniversary next week.

In their free time (which is little these days), they enjoy snowshoeing and hiking (they have tackled fifteen 14ers so far!) and have been known to brew a few batches of beer for friends and family to enjoy.

Kate is excited to join Rotary 31 and is personally tied to the cause, her Aunt Sally was one of the last recorded cases of polio in the state of Iowa.  She has a deep respect for our work and is eager to get involved.

Rosie Gantos was born in Quito, Ecuador in 1962. Her family immigrated to Columbus, Ohio in 1976. Her parents, Miguel and Elsa, achieved their American dream by opening their own small businesses in 1978 and having their four children graduate from university. Rosie and her husband, Joseph, met while studying at The Ohio State University in 1982. Rosie graduated from OSU with a BS in microbiology in 1985 and a BS in commercial interior architecture in 2010. Rosie and Joseph, also achieved their American dream by working, owning small businesses in Ohio, Colorado and New Mexico, and proudly cheering their kids on through college graduation, home ownership and marriage. Rosie is the proud mother of two wonderful and independent children, Gabrielle and David. Her many interests include travel, reading, sewing, ceramics and working out.

Prior to Green Stone, Matt spent eight years founding, building and leading a team of 25 Experience Designers at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder as well as a couple of years in at R/GA on the Nike account where he helped craft a number of influential platforms including NikeID and Nike+.  Through that journey, his projects have won many marquee industry awards, but he gets far more excited about winning the hearts and minds of the people he designs for.

Kristen Brooks

Kristen Brooks is a Colorado native, born and raised in Golden and Denver.  She attended Colorado Academy (’95) and is a graduate of Connecticut College (’99) where she played Lacrosse and received a BA in Psychology and French.  Kristen works in oncology and urology medical device sales, and has worked in medical, pharmaceutical and genomic cancer diagnostics for almost 20 years.  Kristen runs the Colorado hub for Cartagena Paws, a dog rescue organization out of Colombia, where she navigates adoptions and sponsors for homeless pups coming from Colombia to the states.  Lastly, Kristen is the Founder of Healthy Not High – a CBD movement, formally educating and consulting on the health benefits of CBD (a non-psychoactive molecule from the hemp plant).

Kristen travels with some frequency and has visited, studied or worked in various countries around the globe (such as Colombia, France, Czech Republic, Croatia, Mexico, Russia, Caribbean) and would like to add to projects here and abroad in the future.  Inspired by her father’s long time Denver Rotarian involvement, Sid Brooks, Kristen is very much looking forward to contributing to the Rotary community.
