COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE - Jim Goddard, 2010-2011 Chair

The Communications Committee Leads…

 …PUBLIC RELATIONS

The public relations function of the Communications Committee is to lead the effort to create greater awareness within the Denver community about Club 31’s mission and its projects, and to encourage involvement in our Club. In addition, our Committee will take opportunities to include the work of Rotary International in our stories and messages to the public. We will also utilize the 100th Anniversary of our Club to promote our successes. The work includes identifying important stories of our success and testimonials from our members to relay to the media, and creating press releases and announcements to build relationships with the media.

…INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

The committee is also responsible for internal public relations through creation of content/stories for the Keyway Newsletter, and through enhancing the work of our Programs Committee to build excitement around our weekly Club programs

…WEBSITE INFORMATION

The Club Website has wonderful functions and usefulness for our members. The Communications Committee will support driving members and the public to the site and will help guide the content to support planned enhancements this year.
