100 YEARS OF ROTARY IN COLORADO

 As you know, we have embarked on an exciting project, pursuant to celebrating “100 Years of Rotary in Colorado”. It involves working with all 144 Rotary Clubs in Colorado to hopefully obtain a major Federal stimulus grant that would help bring high speed internet to virtually every school in Colorado.

At our weekly meeting on June 3, 2010, a presentation was made to the Club concerning this effort. If you happened to miss that meeting, you may view the power point presentation by CLICKING HERE.  Here is a June 15th update of all that has been happening in the past few days on this project.

It is vitally important that we support this effort by sending letters and/or calls to our Congressional Delegation and others. Here are a Sample Letter that you can customize, along with the ActionPak explaining where/how to send the letter is also provided on this webpage.

This is a wonderful project and will have a major impact on literacy and educational achievement for our children in Colorado. Indeed, as you can see from the presentation, it will also impact every business, and every resident of the State for decades to come.
